What was that thundering sound you heard Sunday morning?
That's right....it was Jetta CANTERING out on the trails!!! WOOHOO!!
We had a fabulous trail ride yesterday with the barn owner, but she had to cut it short due to prior plans. So, Jetta and I went on for the rest of the way by ourselves. Jetta is so funny....she seems so apathetic towards other horses when we are out riding, but the moment we leave them....she throws a fit! She will do a bunch of mini spooks and act like there's a monster around every corner. Well, she did that a couple of times, and I finally got fed up with her...she was asking to go, wanting to go, NEEDING to go...so we went! It was a nice, controlled canter that just felt, well....PERFECT.

Sometimes you just have to let them go! :) And it's so fun when you do... glad to hear you're able to get out there and ride!
